Mini-Grant Program
Are you an individual, small business, or community group with an idea to create a substance-free event or project in your community? We're excited to announce the PL4 Mini-Grant Program, a funding opportunity designed to support local, grassroots efforts that promote community connection and a healthy lifestyle. We believe the best prevention ideas often come from the community itself. These mini-grants are meant to be low-barrier and accessible, welcoming new voices and creative projects.
About the Mini-Grants
Our Tier 3 Mini-Grants provide small-scale funding to support community-driven initiatives that align with our goals. We’re looking for projects that:
- Bring people together
- Encourage creative and accessible solutions to promote substance-free environments.
- Reduce barriers to participation in activities that promote health across the continuum of care.
- Support new or emerging projects that aren’t already funded.
This is a great opportunity for individuals, schools, youth groups, small businesses, and wellness advocates to get the support they need to make their project a reality.

Who Can Apply
These grants are open to a wide range of applicants located in or serving one of the four PL4 health districts: Bennington, Brattleboro, Springfield, and White River Junction.
Ideal applicants include:
Community groups & youth organizations

Individuals & small businesses
We particularly encourage applications from those who may not traditionally be involved in prevention work.
